No other love have I,
Only my love for you!
Only the dream we knew,
No other love!
Watching the night go by,
Wishing that you could be,
Watching the night with me,
Into the night I cry!
Come home to me!
Set me free,
Free from doubt,
And free from longing!
Into your arms I'll fly,
Locked in your arms I'll stay,
Waiting to hear you say,
No other love have I,
No other love!
ALBUM SONGS LIST:
No Other Love - (Two Different Versions) + Night & Day!
"No Other Love" is a popular song.
The words were written by Bob Russell. The music is credited to Paul Weston but is actually derived from Frédéric Chopin's Étude No. 3 in E, Op. 10, and is practically identical to that of the song "Tristesse," a 1939 hit for French singer-actor Tino Rossi. It should not be confused with "No Other Love", written and composed by Broadway team Rodgers & Hammerstein.
"No Other Love" is a show tune from the 1953 Rodgers & Hammerstein musical Me and Juliet.
Richard Rodgers & Robert Russell Bennett originally composed this tune (with the title "Beneath the Southern Cross") for the NBC television series Victory at Sea(1952/1953). When Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein II collaborated on Me and Juliet, Rodgers took his old melody and set it to new words by Hammerstein, producing the song "No Other Love". The song has a tango rhythm (referred to by Rodgers as a "languid tango" in his autobiography, Musical Stages).
The 1953 song should not be confused with "No Other Love", a song of 1950. The melody for the 1950 song was taken from Étude in E major, Op. 10, No. 3 by Frédéric Chopin. - Wikipedia
Pierino Ronald "Perry" Como (1912 – 2001), also known as Mr. C, was an American singer and television personality. During a career spanning more than half a century, he recorded exclusively for RCA Victor for 44 years after signing with the label in 1943. Como sold millions of records for RCA Victor and pioneered a musical variety television show. He was seen weekly on television from 1948 to 1963, then continued hosting the Kraft Music Hall variety program monthly until 1967. His television shows and seasonal specials were broadcast throughout the world. Also a popular recording artist, Perry Como released numerous hit records from the 1940s through the 1970s. Como's appeal spanned generations and he was universally respected for both his professional standards and the conduct in his personal life.
In 1929, the 17-year-old Como met Roselle Belline at a picnic on Chartiers Creek that attracted many young people from the Canonsburg area. Como, who attended the cookout with another girl, did not spot Roselle until everyone was around the campfire singing and the gathering was coming to a close. When it came Como's turn to sing, he chose "More Than You Know", with his eyes on Roselle for the entire song. The teenage sweethearts were married July 31, 1933. They raised three children, Ronnie, David, and Terri, with traditional, non-show-business values. When Roselle died suddenly on August 12, 1998, at the age of 84, the couple had been married for 65 years. Como was reportedly devastated by her loss. - Wikipedia

Each one of us needs to look after the good of the
people around us, asking ourselves, “How can I help?”
That’s exactly what Jesus did. He didn’t make it easy
for Himself by avoiding people’s troubles, but waded
right in and helped out.
