Arcade Game: Flicky (1984 Sega)
A platform/ run 'n jump game where you play a blue bird name Flicky who must rescue her lost chicks from evil cats. Any lost chicks touched by the cat will be separated from Flicky and you must retrieve the lost chicks again. You must use items such as hammer or plant pots to throw and knock out your opponents including green lizards. Flicky the bird appearances in other Sega arcade games such as Bloxeed, TeddyBoy Blues, SDI, Flash Point, and Super Monaco GP, and mega drive/Saturn game Sonic 3D Blast. Flicky also made cameo appearance numerous other Sega games. Note: Invincibility cheat only partially works in this game so I used the infinite lives cheat. I do die a lot in this game so I edited out many of the repeated failures. The game is endless. After 99 levels, the levels repeats themselves at random. The controls do feel lagged at times. The game is okay but not my favorite. Gameplay starts at 1:11

Sega Mega Tech System - 1989 Arcade Machine
A look at a Sega Mega Tech arcade machine. Made in 1989, this contains 8 different games. Coins paid for playing time on one or any combination of the installed games. Most of the hardware is identical to the Mega Drive (Genesis). Ebay listing - SOLD 23 July 2018, no longer available. Pictures and other info here: http://xo4.uk/?S3G The top display has significant screen burn, and when obtained about 6 years ago was not working at all due to the flyback being cracked in half and several other components failed. Some of the internal wiring had been pulled out a couple of the wiring connectors were missing. The entire thing was also coated with a vile mixture of nicotine and black greasy dirt, inside and out. Let's Play Yakuza 0 - OutRun, Space Harrier, & Luka - Part 5
Welcome to the fifth episode of my Yakuza 0 (PS4) let's play series. This is a (mostly) blind run through the game, so let's explore what it has to offer together. In this installment of my series, we check out the Sega Hi Tech Land arcades in Kamurocho. These 1988 arcades hold a couple of classic Sega arcade games and the series regular UFO catcher crane games. The 1986 Sega hit OutRun is the first of these games. After playing the game, we are introduced to a female staff member named Luka who is an OutRun enthusiast herself and part of Kiryu substory 54 appropriately named Luka at Sega High Tech Land. Then we head over to the other Sega High Tech Land in Kamurocho and find the 1985 Sega arcade hit Space Harrier. Yes, this episode is super focused! Next time, we check out the batting cages, bowling, and meet a fierce female fighter! SegaSonic Popcorn Shop [Arcade | 1993] - Showcase
► | Download | • More here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_zQbiibG3vg ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ► | ABOUT | SegaSonic Popcorn Shop is an arcade vending machine released in 1993, exclusively in Japan. Created by Sega AM1 and released by Sega, it is a combination of a popcorn machine and a mini-game on Sega's C-2 board, a hardware similar to the one on the Sega Genesis. The vending machine dispenses popcorn in one of three flavors: salted, butter or curry.[2] The small screen of the vending machine also features a mini-game, starring Sonic and Tails, who assist in making popcorn while Dr. Eggman tries to ruin the event. While the mini-game is being played, the actual popcorn is being microwaved in a nearby compartment. Like in many early Sonic-related arcade games, Takeshi Kusao and Masaharu Satō provided the voices of Sonic and Dr. Eggman. • More information about SegaSonic Popcorn Shop: http://sonic.wikia.com/wiki/SegaSonic_Popcorn_Shop ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ • PLAYLIST: • TWITTER: https://goo.gl/NW2bbO • INSTAGRAM: https://goo.gl/CmIOYJ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ► | Links | • Twitter: http://goo.gl/gpNKPk • Steam: http://goo.gl/orkxLg • Livestreamchannel (Twitch): http://goo.gl/v7xmHm • Instagram: http://goo.gl/6H7qvx ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ► | Equipment | • Capture Card: http://goo.gl/RqxZZW • 3DS Capture Card: http://goo.gl/YZRUFv • Software: http://goo.gl/N7tMqr • Controller: http://goo.gl/PhWoj0 • PC Capture Software: http://goo.gl/lCWtnh ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ► | Copyright | SONIC THE HEDGEHOG characters © SEGA, SEGA, the SEGA logo and Sonic The Hedgehog are either registered trademarks or trademarks of SEGA Corporation. SEGA Arcade game Tac/Scan (1982)
This is game play from the 1982 SEGA vector graphics arcade game Tac/Scan. To my knowledge, this is the first video game to feature real-time perspective changes (camera position changes). Game info: As your squadron loses ships, you can add more ships from your inventory (shown at top left). You can also catch ships that periodically appear moving from the top of the screen toward the bottom. The configuration of the squadron changes as a new squad leader is socketed into position (at the front center of the squad). If your squad leader is killed and a new one takes the front center position, the new squad leader will automatically implement a new configuration. Be sure to eliminate snipers ASAP. Keep in mind that the faster you fire, the shorter your shot range. Keep calm and lower your firing rate to achieve optimum distance and accuracy. When navigating the tunnels, watch the indicators that surround the squadron: if a red vertical bar appears on either side, that means you're getting dangerously close to the edge of the tunnel. This game is designed to create tension. The key is to stay focused and keep from letting the stress get to you. If playing on the M.A.M.E. emulator: - Set resolution to 1024x768 or higher - Gamma Correction = 1.70 - Vector Beam = 1.70 Left mouse button = fire Right mouse button = add ship from inventory

Arcade Game: Pitfall II: The Lost Caverns (1984 Activision/Sega)
A Side-Scrolling/Platform/Run 'N Jump game where you are the adventurer, the world's most famous explorer and fortune hunter extraordinaire named Pitfall Harry. Go through lost forests and the caves and collect treasures for points. Originally released by Activision for the home consoles and computers in 1984. Sega got permission from Activision to port the game to the Arcade later that same year. This is easily my second favorite version of Pitfall II. Atari 800, Atari 5200 and along with the arcade version are way better than all other home versions. Unlike the other Home Versions that have 27 levles, the arcade version only has 4 levels and Sega incorporated elements from Ptfall I & II. This is one game you should play. Didn't know there was an arcade release until I discovered it in MAME. Note: No Cheats Used at all. Only savestates used.

Sega Rally 3 Arcade Machine, 60 FPS, 1920 x 1080 (Full HD), maximum details
Special version of Sega Rally 3 Twin Cabinet (Real Arcade Game Machine) with Full HD game and monitor resolution (1920 x 1080), maximum details and extremely fluid game play with 60 FPS (frames per second). Problem: the video quality on youtube is widely not as good as the real MPEG-4 video (even if you set full-HD). You can download the good quality MPEG-4 video (1,31 GB) from this link: https://mega.nz/#!JRQ2AbQR!P_ALa38pvOR4isbNjgNrY34YPghHRMNGIgYrPK81-ek (use vlc media player to pay this video) This is a real arcade game video record from a modified Sega Rally 3 Twin Cabinet with new powerful hardware and new Full HD monitors. The hardware was modified/upgraded in the winter 2012. Arcade machine location: Hotel Kastel Seiser Alm (Games Room) Note: In the video there are a few very short breaks; this is only in the video (from recording with 60fps), the real game is completely fluid.

Today we visited the SEGA arcade at Tokyo Dome City! Tokyo Dome City is an entertainment complex in Tokyo, Japan which features many different attractions, but of course we were only really interested in the arcade. :) Plus we went on a rainy day so all the rides were closed anyhow. Classic Game Room - SEGA GENESIS 6-BUTTON ARCADE STICK joystick review
Classic Game Room HD reviews the Sega Genesis 6-button Arcade Stick for the Sega Genesis video game console. This is a wonderful arcade joystick for the Sega Megadrive game system and is ideal for fighting games like Street Fighter II that use the six button layout. It has a fabulous arcade style joystick stick with a huge knob (hold your jokes!) perfect for gripping with your hand (watch it!). This joystick fighting controller for the MD is also ideal for games like Samurai Shodown, Twin Cobra and Air Diver. Any game that benefits from that arcade feel will be well paired with the 6-button Arcade Stick from Sega for use with the Sega Mega Drive. It is a hefty controller and a bit larger than the NES Advantage controller for the Nintendo Entertainment System. It has turbo fire (they call it Megafire) and huge, arcade style buttons. Classic Game Room loves this controller. But it today, it's cheap and well worth the money because it is built like a tank and wants a new home. A home where it will be put to the test with Sega Genesis games.

SegaSonic the Hedgehog 3 player arcade game 60fps
Best viewed in 720p. I'm player 1, Mark is player 2 and Dee is player 3. This was played using joysticks instead of a trackball, and on MAME the diagonals are slightly off making it harder to play. Unfortunately, at the end of the game, we didn't originally make it to the end before time ran out, so I used a save state to do it over so I could actually show the end.

Arcade Game: Congo Bongo (1983 Sega)
An isometric platform/run 'n jump game where Bongo the gorilla as approaches the campsite of a sleeping safari hunter and sets fire to his tent. The player takes on the role of the hunter who has vowed revenge on Bongo for this cruel prank. The game consists of four different scenes. Each is timed by a bonus counter in the upper left corner of the screen. As time passes, the bonus decreases. If the bonus counter reaches zero, a player life is lost. Primate Peak. Climb to the top to reach Bongo the gorilla, avoiding the rolling coconuts he throws at the hunter. Don't let the monkeys jump on the hunter's back, because if three manage to take hold, they will throw the hunter over the cliff. Pressing the jump button repeatedly will dislodge them. Once Bongo is reached, he will retreat to the next scene. Snake Lake. Avoid the scorpions that crawl onto the grassy area on which the hunter starts the scene and jump onto the maze-like paths, while jumping over or avoiding snakes. Jump onto the back of the submerging hippo without touching the water - this must be carefully timed as the hippo dives and surfaces - to reach Bongo.Rhino Ridge. Avoid the deadly puddles and dodge the charging rhinos by jumping over them or hiding down in the mole holes. Do not wait too long in any of the holes because a man in a headdress randomly appears in the various pits and fills them in. Once the hunter is safely past the rhino herd, climb the rock where Bongo stands to proceed to the fourth and final scene. * Lazy Lagoon. Cross the water by leaping onto floating lily pads and standing rocks, as well as riding on the backs of submerging hippos and giant fish. Once dry land is reached, a couple of rhinos will be charging back and forth, once these have been safely passed, the hunter will find Bongo sleeping on his chair next to a fire. The hunter will finally have his revenge and give Bongo the hotfoot, after which the game begins again with an increased level of difficulty. Sega released this game to compete with Nintendo's popular platform "Donkey Kong".

Sega Arcade Gallery (GBA)
This video was captured using the actual game on a Gamecube, Game Boy Advance player. I must admit. I picked this game up sort of on an impulse. Not to say that I was sorry that I did, but I think 10 bucks was a little too steep for this title. Three out of four games are decent ports of the original arcade. One however is complete garbage. That one would be the first game shown which is After Burner II. It's just a straight up abomination. It's slow, the graphics suck balls, there are no actual after burner controls, and it's impossible to lock on to any target outside of the middle of the screen. The music is descent, but the sound sucks. The GBA was more than capable of doing an arcade perfect port, so this was just laziness. I showed as much gameplay on After Burner II as I could possibly stand. It is not fun in the slightest. Ok, so for the good parts of this compilation. Next is Outrun. Again, this is not an arcade perfect port by any means, but it does have it where it counts. All the music and gameplay is there. The graphics needlessly got toned down a little, but still a good portable port of the arcade. Space Harrier again is not arcade perfect and the graphics did take another needless hit, but overall it is a good port. Super Hang-on is a good port as well. It has fantastic gameplay and is a lot of fun. It is a little easier than the original arcade, and I'm perfectly ok with that since the arcade was made to eat quarters. Overall I think 5 to 8 bucks would have been a better price for this game because of After Burner II being a complete waste. Maybe I'm being too hard on the game just because I'm pissed about After Burner.

Arcade Longplay [249] SEGA Rally Championship 1995
http://www.longplays.org Played by gunboss201 SEGA Rally is one of the best driving games made by SEGA AM5. This game has smooth graphics, distinct handling style and superb track design. Thus due to the success of this game, it later continued to SEGA Rally 2, SEGA Rally 2006 (Includes the Arcade Version) and SEGA Rally REVO for the Consoles. The Saturn Version ranked 44th out of 50 games in the Guiness World Records-Gamer Edition 2009. This game has 2 cars to choose from : Toyota Celica GT-Four and Lancia Delta HF Integrale. And a 3rd car that can be unlocked in the Saturn Version. This game has 2 endings: -Player not able to finish extra stage (goes to credits showing the track environment.) -Player finishes the Extra Course (Award Ceremony and a quick replay of your driving.) So, I used both cars and both ended up with different endings. Looks like I have to train more on Lancia, because it has a tighter Handling (Grip) compared to Celica. A small turn on the steering wheel doesn't really turn much to me, making me struggle in the game. I can cut almost all of the corners with ease on Celica, although the length of the car is long. I almost can't finish the extra stage even with Celica, took me a few days to get back on track.
