Scandal, Yoake No Ryuseigun. スキャンダル, 夜明けの流星群. Why Does Love (Band Cover)

03:29
The Exponents Why Does Love Do This To Me [Cover] (Rhythm, Lead, Support, Voicing, Bass & Drums) Tuning: [E Standard] At no.5 of 40 or something like that, I know it was early on. "Why Does Love Do This To Me" by "The Exponents" I'm sorta winging the list by memory, 2009 was a long time ago. If you are wondering about the Harmonies with the guitar. That is the "Support Guitar". While it doesn't show on screen, It's there as accompaniment and fix ups. It usually plays a small role. Thus, the reason I don't put it in my videos. Gutter Black (Band Cover)

Gutter Black (Band Cover) by Hello Sailor Tuning [E Standard] (Rhythm, Lead, Voicing, Support, Bass and Drums) A New Zealand, Kiwi Classic. One of the earlier songs within the 2010 Band Factory 40 challenge list. Originally there is a Trumpet playing small, but effective licks in the song. I converted this to Guitar...Cuz my Keyboard has still not arrived. On a side note, yes, this is what I look like, hope I'm not too ugly haha. Enjoy! Kotoko, Light My Fire (Guitar&Voicing Cover)

03:48
Kotoko, Light My Fire (Guitar and Voicing Guitar) [Tuning, Drop D] I attempted to try playing a non-second guitar accompanied song, and decided to play the voice on Guitar as the lead instead to see how that would fair out. If I had a Bass guitar, I would have played that too, as Im sure the only way to make a band with 1 guitar sound full in these covers is to have some sort of accompany that ranges over the treble and bass ranges. low, mid, high etc. Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/Martin-Game-576137969206705/ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I do not own any rights to the musical content contained within this video, This is a cover uploaded for entertainment purposes only, "Light My Fire" was recorded by "Kotoko" As a single for the "Light My Fire EP" released November 16, 2011 and all rights are reserved to "Kotoko".

Proud Mary (Band Cover)

05:31
Ike & Tina Turner Proud Mary [Cover] (Rhythm, Lead, Support, Voicing, Bass & Drums) Tuning: [E Standard] At no.7 of 40 or something like that. "Proud Mary" the "Ike & Tina Turner" version I'm sorta winging the list by memory, 2009 was a long time ago. This Video was hard to make and I'll admit to cheating somewhat. I had trouble remembering the sequence of notes for the 'voice' and couldn't successfully pull of a 99% accuracy in 1 take. --- So I went into Logic pro and Pre-Recorded the voice track by section. Then placed that audio on top of the video. You will notice some notes wont add up, But its about 80-85% accurate roughly (Concerning voice). --- I also played Ike's Voice in Drop D and didn't make a video for it. I was more aimed at audio over video. Papermoon (Band Cover)

04:25
Tommy Heavenly6 Papermoon Band Cover Rhythm, Lead, Voicing, Support, Bass and Drums Tuning: [E standard] This song was a challenge. I had to re-record each instrument multiple times because I played clashing chords, missed strings accidentally hit open strings, or lost focus and would just forget what comes next. After that I put it into Logic pro and tried to get a similar sound to the original recording using crunch/distortion on the guitars. But it just sounded horrible. So I spent time using EQ, intense panning and automatic volume switching. But still it sounded horrible. Eventually I switched back to clean with reverb to get it to sound decent, as it is now. Which is much better...trust me. Whoever the recording engineer was for the Original Papermoon by Tommy Heavenly6, you have my applause. Because the mixing was probably more than likely the most important part and I could not get it anywhere near that level. And yes, my video recording is dubbed, I prefer sound over the video and I spent almost a day making mistakes in different places. Regardless Enjoy Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/Martin-Game-576137969206705/ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ I do not own any rights to the musical content contained within this video, This is a cover uploaded for entertainment purposes only, "Papermoon" was recorded by "Tommy Heavenly6" as their 9th single and Tomoko Kawase's 16th single. Basket Case (Band Cover)

Green Day Basket Case [Cover] (Rhythm, Voicing, Support, Bass & Drums) Tuning: Eb Standard On the 40 Song Challenge at no.8...I think? Is Basket Case by Green Day. I'm probably going to stop the count soon . For this piece I tried to experiment with logic pro and video Dubbing. I wanted to see how it would turn out manipulating the guitar effects, instead of a raw input. Well, I'll only know if it's any good if you like it. [Tuning, Standard E] While I was working on a composition for university, I went over to Youtube, to look up some Final Fantasy Music for ideas on structure, but then I had the idea to cover one of Nobuo Uematsu compositions on guitar, in order to practise my listening abilities. Walking on the Sun (Band Cover)

03:26
Smash Mouth Walking on the Sun Band Cover (Lead, Rhythm, Voicing, Harmony, Bass and Drums) Tuning: [Eb Standard] Another song from Band Factory, I remember my band mates saying at the time they could not find tabs for the song, so they just sort of improvised the song and it turned out really well. I think we might have been the only band to play it, if i remember correctly...I suppose most year 10's rely on tabs...maybe? This is a pretty awesome song to play. I was surprised at how much fun i was having, learning this song even though most of it is repetition. Side note: you won't see the Bongos playing as I switched settings on the electric drum kit. Plus they only play in two places and sitting with my back turned to the screen doing nothing for 2:30mins kinda boring. Also, if you have ever wondering what a supporting guitar is in my videos, and why I don't typically put the on screen. There is a Support guitar in the bottom left corner and a supporting BV guitar and Bass at the bottom middle.
