It may have seemed like a kind gesture, but Dame viewed it as subversive promotion, mostly because of extremely prominent Def Jam logo placement. In this clip, he expresses his frustrations to then-President Kevin Liles, and explains Rocafella's independent mentality. He felt Def Jam was only there to "cut the checks."

THROWBACK NEWZ: Rapper Eazy-E Visits The WHITE HOUSE To See President George H.W Bush(1991)

02:26
Eazy-E's status as a controversial figure took an unusual turn when he accepted an invitation to a lunch benefitting the Republican Senatorial Inner Circle hosted by President George Bush in March of 1991, a little less than a year after conservatives had deemed his music obscene in Florida. Since his presence among the right-wing politicians struck the media as somewhat absurd, the event was reported across the country over the next 24 hours. Not surprisingly, Eazy-E found it necessary to explain in a brief television interview that his invitation was the result of a $2,500 campaign contribution, which he had made to a Republican politician who stood against censorship. Although this made the point that freedom of speech debates cut through party lines, the rapper's appearance among the Republican powers still left many of his fans ill at ease, since Bush's economic policies generally were not seen to be promoting the welfare of inner-city African-Americans. When Eazy-E spoke with Light about the incident that year, he denied any allegiance to the G.O.P. "How the f-- can I be a Republican when I got a song called 'F-- tha Police'?" he asked. "I ain't shit--ain't a Republican or Democrat. I didn't even vote. My vote ain't going to help! I don't give a f-- who's the president."

Tennessee Teen SUSPENDED After Saying 'BLESS You' In Classroom To Fellow Student Who SNEEZED!!

01:37
Add "Bless you" to the list of words you apparently can't say in a public classroom. A Tennessee teen who said exactly that to a classmate after they sneezed says she was removed from her classroom and punished with in-school suspension on Monday. "She said that we're not going to have godly speaking in her class and that's when I said we have a constitutional right," Kendry Turner, a senior at Dyer County High School, told WMC after the recent controversy. Turner's parents said they met with school officials on Tuesday but were told that their daughter was punished because the comment was used in a distracting way after she shouted it across the room and then was combative with the teacher. Some of Turner's classmates showed their support of her by wearing handmade T-shirts to school that same day. They read: "bless you." "It's alright to defend God and it's our constitutional right because we have a freedom of religion and freedom of speech," said Turner. When Turner went to meet with school officials that same day, she says they agreed with her teacher. “The assistant principal said if I didn’t want to respect my teacher’s rules then maybe my pastor should teach me because my freedom (of) speech and religion does not work at their school,” Turner wrote on Facebook. According to a photo taken from inside Turner’s teacher’s classroom and submitted to WMC, “bless you” is just one of several expressions banned from being used in the classroom. The other words and expressions seen written on a white board are: "Stupid," "dumb," "boring," "stuff," "I don't know," "hang out," and "my bad."

Convicted MURDERER DARES Judge to Give Him DEATH PENALTY!!

03:16
Donate To The Channel: https://www.paypal.me/hezakyanewz PATREON: https://www.patreon.com/Hezakyanewz A Florida man was convicted of murder in May, and during a recent court appearance, he actually dared the judge to give him the death penalty. The jury had found James Herard guilty of murdering two people at a Dunkin Donuts in 2008 and recommended the death penalty in his case. Herard got to speak in court this past Friday, and said to the judge, “Go ahead and do what you gonna do. I pretty much dare you to give me the death sentence because I’m innocent.” And here’s how confident he is: “I’m actually hoping you give me the death penalty because I know the Supreme Court won’t allow me to die for something I didn’t commit.” This actually isn’t the first odd performance of Herard’s in court. When he appeared in court to face accusations over the Dunkin Donuts robbery in 2008, Herard literally barked like a dog at the judge. – –

THROWBACK NEWZ: Rapper Biggie Smalls ARRESTED For ATTACKING A Taxicab(1996)

02:07
Christopher Wallace, the Brooklyn-born rap artist known by the stage names Notorious B.I.G. and Biggie Smalls, was arrested early yesterday in Manhattan after chasing two autograph seekers and smashing the windows of their cab with a baseball bat, the police said. The two fans approached Mr. Wallace outside the Palladium nightclub, at 126 East 14th Street, at 4:30 A.M., moments after watching a performance by Mr. Wallace's wife, Faith Evans, said Detective Mark Patterson, a police spokesman. Words were exchanged, Detective Patterson said, and when the fans drove off in a cab, Mr. Wallace followed in his car. The cab stopped at Union Square West and 16th Street, where Mr. Wallace and a companion smashed all the taxi's windows, the police said. The police arrested Mr. Wallace and a friend of his, Damian Butler, 23, and charged them with assault. Mr. Wallace, 22, was reared in Bedford-Stuyvesant, where he spent his adolescence selling crack cocaine and dodging his heavily armed rivals, according to his own accounts of his upbringing. At age 17, he was arrested on a cocaine-dealing charge in North Carolina and spent nine months in jail while waiting to make bail. His recording career blossomed in 1994, when both his album "Ready to Die" and the single "Juicy" sold more than one million copies.

THROWBACK NEWZ:THE DEATH OF RAPPER FREAKY TAH(1999)

01:38
NEW YORK — The three suspects charged in the March 28 murder of Lost Boyz rapper Freaky Tah were affiliated with a “wannabe” rap group called the Hellraisers, and Freaky Tah’s death was not the first to result from an apparent feud between the two groups, police said Thursday. All three suspects were charged with second-degree murder and illegal possession of a weapon, police said. Kelvin Jones, 29 of Albany, N.Y., is accused of being the gunman, and a source close to the investigation said he has confessed to the crime. Ryan Fritch, 24, of Queens, is alleged to have driven the van used in the incident, and Rasheem Fletcher, 22, is alleged to have provided the van. The feud that resulted in the death of Freaky Tah (born Raymond Rogers) can be traced back at least to November, when a member of the Lost Boyz was robbed, the source said. The source declined to identify which member was the victim, but said it was not Freaky Tah. He also said it “was not the first time members of the group had been robbed.” After the robbery, according to the source, someone police believe was a “hanger-on” in the Lost Boyz camp attempted to retaliate by shooting a man named Michael Saunders, who was a member of the Hellraisers camp. But Saunders, who was killed in the December shooting, actually had no involvement in the robbery, according to police. The source said police don’t believe the Lost Boyz themselves ordered or approved of Saunders’ killing, which he called the work of an affiliate who might have been trying to impress the group. The case is still under investigation. Saunders was the half-brother of Kelvin Jones, who is accused of being the gunman in the Freaky Tah murder. After Saunders was shot, “Jones basically [went] looking for this guy — he looks for him for months, [but] he cannot find this guy,” the source said. “He knows one thing — he’s affiliated or friends with the Lost Boyz.” After Jones heard the Lost Boyz and their friends would be attending a party March 27 at a Sheraton Hotel, he recruited Fritch and Fletcher to join him in staking out the party from a van outside the hotel, according to the source. Police are still seeking a fourth suspect who was in the van, the source said. The party cleared out as the evening stretched into the early morning of March 28, and Jones, wearing a ski mask, left the van and walked into a crowd outside the hotel, police said. In his confession to police, Jones said he chose Freaky Tah as his target because he mistakenly believed the rapper was a cousin of the man who shot Saunders, according to the source. Three days after Freaky Tah’s death, a man named Roger Paggent, who also was affiliated with the Hellraisers, was shot dead in Ozone Park, Queens. Police are investigating whether that shooting was in retaliation for Freaky Tah’s murder, although the source said the three surviving Lost Boyz are not under suspicion. Patrick Timlin, a commanding officer who supervised the investigation, said at a press conference Thursday that all three suspects in Freaky Tah’s killing have criminal records. Fletcher’s background included convictions on drug and weapons charges. Fritch had a record of similar convictions and was apprehended when he reported to his parole officer, Timlin said. Jones has been convicted of robbery and on weapons and drug charges. Fletcher pleaded not guilty to murder and weapons charges over the weekend and was ordered held without bail. The other two suspects, who were arrested this week, are expected to be arraigned Friday afternoon (April 9). As for the Hellraisers, the source said, “there’s [really] no such group.” He said they could be more accurately described as “a group of guys who are trying to put a rap group together.” Queens County District Attorney Judge Richard A. Brown called Freaky Tah’s murder “the senseless killing of an accomplished entertainer” and praised police for their work in solving the case. Wendy Washington, a publicist for the Lost Boyz’ record label, said Friday that the group and the label had no comment on any aspect of the case.

RABID Bat ATTACKS, BITES Oregon Man JAMMING On Guitar!!

03:33
CLACKAMAS COUNTY, Ore. -- A Gresham man was bit by a rabid bat while he was camping in Clackamas County. “This thing came out of nowhere,” Derrick Skou said. “I was thinking it was a good day until then.” Skou was playing guitar, and jamming with friends at a campsite when it happened. The attack was caught on video. Skou says he wanted to record it because he felt they were playing well. “Something hit me. I was concentrating on staying in time and all that, and it hit me here, and I kind of saw something out of my peripheral vision. And then it's there, and then it just bit me,” Skou said. The bat latched onto his shirt, near his shoulder, then crawled up to his neck. "It was like a cold dog nose,” Skou said as he described his brief encounter with the bat. “It was a cold bat nose, mouth, whatever. It didn't sting. I wasn't injected with anything. It was just a cold bite.” The bat then camped in a tree before coming down twice more to try and attack Skou. Fortunately, he was only bit once before a friend shot the bat with a BB gun. "Whether we would get in trouble for shooting it, and I said well, it drew first blood. We need to take care of this thing,” Skou said. The bat ended up being rabid, something Skou only found out after taking it to Multnomah County health officials. He first tried to take it to the Clackamas County Environmental Health Department, but he says they declined to test the bat. The department was closed Friday and did not return KATU News’ calls.

Ol Dirty Bastard On PAROLE(2003 VH1 SPECIAL)

45:11
It’s safe to say that for virtually every moment from the time that Wu-Tang Clan became prominent around 1993 until his sad death in 2004, Ol’ Dirty Bastard—“Russell Jones” to the law enforcement community—was in some kind of legal trouble. He was convicted of second degree assault in 1993 and was arrested for failure to pay child support in 1997. A year later, he pleaded guilty to attempted assault on his wife and was also arrested for shoplifting. It goes on from there. In 2000 he was assigned to a court-mandated drug treatment facility but escaped—as a fugitive he met up with RZA and spent some time in the studio. In Philadelphia he was eventually captured. (DM previously reported on his endlessly interesting FBI file, released in 2012.) After spending the next two and a half years in prison in New York, he was released on parole on May 1, 2003. Sensing an opportunity, ODB’s manager, Jarred Weisfeld, arranged for VH1 to have a crew follow ODB around for his release and the first few weeks out of jail. The end result was “Inside Out,” which can be viewed below. Actually, it’s a little unclear what this video is—IMDb.com lists the running time as 60 minutes over two episodes. This video isn’t that long, however. What I think this is is episode 1 of “Inside Out”—not sure there was an episode 2—followed by a brief remembrance section that likely doesn’t have anything to do with VH1. In any case, it’s wildly entertaining.

Missouri Teenager In COMA After Being TASED, DRAGGED & STEPPED ON By Police Officer!!

09:28
MISSOURI (CNN/WDAF) - A 17-year-old is fighting for his life after he was tased by a police officer. Bryce Masters was pulled over by the officer on Sunday afternoon. Police say the reason for the stop was due to an outstanding traffic violation. Police told CNN affiliate WDAF that the teen resisted arrest and the officer was forced to tase him. But eye witnesses say that is not what happened. Witnesses say the officer, identified as Tim Runnels, pulled the teen’s lifeless body onto this sidewalk, as shown in the cell phone video taken by a neighbor, Michelle Baker. In the video, you can see the cop dragging the teen’s body to the sidewalk, then standing with his foot on the teen’s back. “You could tell the kid was going into convulsions. He turned him over and his head was dangling like this and he had blood coming out,” said Baker. Curtis Martes, told WDAF that Masters was coming over to play video games when he heard his car pull up. When he went to his porch he watch the incident all unfold. Martes said the officer approached the vehicle after pulling him over and asked him to roll his window down. “I hear him say from my porch he’s like ‘I can’t roll down my window it’s broke,’” said Martes. The officer then walked to the driver’s side and asked the teen to get out of the car. Martes says the teen started recording on his phone. “He was like ‘what am I being arrested for?’ Police say a struggle began and the officer warned the teen several times he would tase him. “There was a wrestling match behind the vehicle where he resisted,” said Maj. Terry Storey of the Independence, Mo. Police Department told WDAF. The FBI announced that they will begin reviewing the police tasing incident. Officer Tim Runnels has been placed on administrative leave, according to officials. Masters is the son of a Kansas City police officer. On Monday, the Masters Family issued the following statement:

Washington D.C Police Officer VIOLATES Policy, CONFRONTS Man For RECORDING ARREST!!

10:06
The police chief of the Metropolitan Police Department in Washington, D.C., has announced a formal investigation into an incident where a officer violated a policy allowing citizens to freely video record police activity. Police Chief Cathy L. Lanier said she was “shocked” when she saw how the officer responded to a man recording an arrest. Further, she said there is “no excuse fro an officer to be unaware” of the department’s policy on the public’s right to film officers. Andrew Heining recently posted video of police physically restraining a man outside of a public library earlier this month. His video doesn’t capture what sparked the incident, but he decided to record the actual arrest occurring from a distance. As previously reported by TheBlaze, Heining claimed that Officer C.C. Reynolds “tried to intimidate” him and force him to leave the scene. In the video, Reynolds is seen approaching Reynolds and telling him, “I would suggest you pack up and go.” “I’m just standing on the sidewalk, sir,” Heining replies. “This is not public,” the officer shoots back. “You are videotaping an investigation.” Officer Reynolds later asks for the man’s ID because “if you are going to sit here and videotape, that makes you part of the investigation, sir.”

The incident occurred last week when Lindsey’s ex-girlfriend — and mother of his child — Rhameicka Clark showed up at his house and found Lindsey on the porch with their daughter and another woman, KDKA reported. Clark told the news station that Lindsey had previously agreed not to bring other women around their daughter. Lindsey recorded video of their encounter on his cell phone, capturing Clark’s rage…After the beating, Clark reported the incident to authorities, but according to Lindsey’s mother, she made it seem like Lindsey had been the aggressor, leading a Pennsylvania magistrate to call for Lindsey’s arrest. Worse, Aliquippa police apparently refused to look at the video evidence that showed Clark attacking Lindsey. “Me and his dad went with him to turn himself in to the police,” Lindsey’s mother said. “They refused to look at the video, refused to hear his side.” She added that her son is in danger of losing his job over the incident. The Aliquippa police department did not immediately respond to a request for comment from TheBlaze.

SPECIAL REPORT: "Gangsta Rap" Lyrics UNDER ATTACK In The Early 90's(Rare Footage)

25:32
Gangsta rap is a subgenre of hip hop music that evolved from hardcore hip hop. The genre was pioneered in the mid-1980s by rappers such as Schoolly D and Ice-T, and was popularized in the later part of the 1980s by groups like N.W.A. After the national attention that Ice-T and N.W.A attracted in the late 1980s and early 1990s, gangsta rap became the most commercially lucrative subgenre of hip hop. Some gangsta rappers have been associated, or allegedly have ties with the Bloods or Crips gangs.[

A MOTHER BURIES A SON: Mourners Lining Up For Michael Brown's FUNERAL!!

07:29
Ferguson, Missouri (CNN) -- Mourners began lining up at a St. Louis church hours before Monday's funeral of slain teenager Michael Brown. The line snaked around the Friendly Temple Missionary Baptist Church on a sweltering St. Louis morning. Retired mail carrier Hilliard Phillips, who once delivered on the street where Brown was killed, was among the mourners. He said there's power in numbers, and he hoped the outpouring of support for Brown and his family would spur society to take a look at itself. "You can't really overnight change the behavior of a person, but sometimes they can be coerced in a sweet way. ... I would hope they could see people coming together in a solemn way to show their respect to someone," he said. Three grieving mothers speak out The Rev. Al Sharpton was expected to deliver a eulogy discussing the "national view" of Brown's death more than two weeks after he was shot to death by a Ferguson, Missouri, police officer. Before Sharpton speaks, the Rev. Charles Ewing will deliver a eulogy from the family's perspective, according to a preliminary program provided by organizers. Brown's death on August 9 sparked days of sometimes violent protests in the St. Louis suburb and concern over race and police shootings across the country. In the past several days, things have calmed down, and the town is slowly coming back to life. Among the guests expected to attend the service were Martin Luther King III and the Rev. Bernice King; the Rev Jesse Jackson; the families of Trayvon Martin and Sean Bell; and celebrities Spike Lee, Diddy and Snoop Lion. The White House is sending three officials to the funeral, including one who attended high school with his mother. Missouri Gov. Jay Nixon, however, won't attend. "The Governor has communicated to attorneys representing the family of Michael Brown that he will not be attending today's funeral out of respect for the family, who deserve time to focus on remembering Michael and grieving their loss," spokesman Scott Holste said. One of them is Broderick Johnson, who leads the White House's My Brother's Keeper Task Force. He'll be joined by Marlon Marshall, a St. Louis native who attended high school with Brown's mother, and Heather Foster. Marshall and Foster are part of the White House Office of Public Engagement. Brown's father, Michael Brown Sr., called Sunday for a day of calm during the funeral. "Please, please take a day of silence so I can, so we can, lay our son to rest," he told a rally in St. Louis. "Please. It's all I ask." Viewing The service comes a day after about 100 friends and family members attended a viewing of Brown's remains. Brown's mother, Leslie McSpadden, spent about 20 minutes alone with her son, Crump told CNN on Monday. Brown's father, Michael Brown Sr. then joined McSpadden for 10 minutes, followed by Brown's grandmother, before other friends and family were welcomed in, according to Crump. In an interview that aired Monday on CNN's "New Day," the mother of slain Florida teenager Trayvon Martin spoke about McSpadden, saying that Monday will be the "worst day of her life as a mother." "There is no words that can bring comfort to her as a mother by seeing her son in a casket," Sybrina Fulton said. Fulton appeared with McSpadden and Valerie Bell, whose son died in a police shooting in New York. Brown's mother said she feels her son's presence. "There's something about the rain, something about it ... I feel him," she said. Fulton told her: "He's there, he's watching over you." On Sunday, music flowed at a memorial at Greater St. Marks Missionary Baptist Church. "Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. always had music as an element of protest," said the Rev. E.G. Shields Jr., who helped organize the event. "He knew there was a way that music helped soothe the soul."

THE COLOR PURPLE CONTROVERSY: NEGATIVE STEREOTYPES OF BLACK MEN(1986)

03:37
Since its premiere in December 1985, THE COLOR PURPLE provoked constant controversy, debate, and appraisals of its effects on the image of Black people in this country. The film also incited a face-off between Black feminist critics and Black male reviewers. The women defend the work, or more precisely, defend Alice Walker's book and the right of the film to exist. Black males vehemently denounce both works and cite the film's stereotypical representations. In the main, adverse criticisms have revolved around three issues: that the film does not examine class, that Black men are portrayed unnecessarily as harsh and brutal; the consequences of this will be to further the split between the Black female and the Black male; that Black people as a whole are depicted as perverse, sexually wanton, and irresponsible.

STREET JUSTICE: Oakland Liquor Store Clerks FIGHT Back Against AGGRESSIVE THIEF Who Cops IGNORED!!

03:30
OAKLAND (CBS SF) — Oakland liquor store workers have fought back against an alleged serial thief after they say police refused to become involved. Surveillance footage from Ideal Market on Market St. in West Oakland shows a man stealing three bottles of champagne before walking out of the store while waving a bottle at the clerk. “He walks out like a tough guy and that nobody can stop him. It’s like the wild, wild west here,” clerk Ahmed Eraja said. The thief is seen dropping and breaking two bottles outside the store before workers catch up to him and his bike a block away to retrieve the third bottle. In another video shot by a bystander outside the store, workers are seen pushing the man away as he tries to take back the bottle back from Eraja. The thief then gets slammed down on the ground as he keeps coming after Eraja, who then sprays him with mace. “He started becoming aggresive, and I had a can of mace next to me. so I decided to use it rather than make it worse. That way, I can have control of the situation.” Onlookers can be heard in the background of the video saying the clerks were being too aggressive over a few bottles of alcohol, but the workers said it was at least the third time the same man had targeted their store. “It doesn’t feel good, but something has to be done. Otherwise it gets worse and worse,” Eraja said. Store workers said police don’t respond to this kind of petty crime, so they took matters into their own hands. The Oakland Police department has seen the surveillance video, but has not commented. Eraja also displayed surveillance video of an armed robbery of the store from two years ago, saying police investigators never took it as evidence when he offered.

Blue Ivy couldn't contain her excitement while watching her famous mama perform her heart out at tonight's 2014 MTV Video Music Awards. Beyoncé sang her entire album live shortly before accepting the coveted Video Vanguard Award, and even her own daughter knew she absolutely, positively killed it on stage. Baby blue was seated in Jay Z's lap in the front row while she watched Queen Bey shake her bootyliciousness for the audience. During "Drunk In Love" little Blue was seen dancing and singing along—and dare we say it…even giving a bit of a "Single Ladies" hand wave! ey and Jay's baby girl already has moves like mama! Beyoncé got emotional during her acceptance speech, saying that she "felt full" from all of the support from her fans and family. At one point, Jay called Bey the "greatest entertainer" in the world, while Blue got on the mic and said, "Yay, mommy!" And while Bey most definitely stole the show tonight, it's safe to say that she may have been overshadowed by the adorable toddler.

Parents' DREAM Home SEIZED After Son's PETTY DRUG BUST($40 Worth Of HEROIN)

06:47
(CNN) -- The rare moments Christos Sourovelis can take a break from running his own painting business, he can be found toiling away on his family's dream house in the suburbs of Philadelphia. "I'm a working guy. I work every day, six days a week, even seven if I have to," Sourovelis says. One day this past March, without warning, the government took his house away, even though he and his wife, Markella, have never been charged with a crime or accused of any wrongdoing. "I was so upset thinking somebody's going to take my house for nothing. That makes me crazy," Sourovelis says, shaking his head. The nightmare began when police showed up at the house and arrested their 22-year-old son, Yianni, on drug charges -- $40 worth of heroin. Authorities say he was selling drugs out of the home. The Sourvelises say they had no knowledge of any involvement their son might have had with drugs. A month-and-a-half later police came back -- this time to seize their house, forcing the Sourvelises and their children out on the street that day. Authorities came with the electric company in tow to turn off the power and even began locking the doors with screws, the Sourvelises say. Authorities won't comment on the exact circumstances because of pending litigation regarding the case. Police and prosecutors came armed with a lawsuit against the house itself. It was being forfeited and transferred to the custody of the Philadelphia District Attorney. Authorities said the house was tied to illegal drugs and therefore subject to civil forfeiture. In two years, nearly 500 families in Philadelphia had their homes or cars taken away by city officials, according to records from Pennsylvania's attorney general. Authorities use a civil forfeiture law that allows them to seize people's property when that property is connected to the sale of illegal drugs.

1974 SPECIAL REPORT: NEW YORK, NEW YORK... In Praise of New York City!!

58:04
Donate To The Channel: https://www.paypal.me/hezakyanewz PATREON: https://www.patreon.com/Hezakyanewz This segment of a program, hosted by Andy Rooney, examines the bizarre love-hate relationship that residents and tourists feel towards New York City. Highlights and topics discussed include the following: the troubles people have getting on and off the island of Manhattan; why entering Manhattan via one of the bridges costs money while leaving the island costs nothing; why the city is best known for its appearance rather than its substance; how residents seem to blend into the city as time goes by, while tourists remain easily identifiable; how the beauty of the city is sometimes hidden in remote yet obvious places; the fabulous places in which you can live -- provided you have the funds; the way Central Park is an essential space in a city full of tall, ominous buildings; how the unpredictable weather does not appear to phase anybody; why times of trouble produce an unbreakable and unchallenged camaraderie among New Yorkers; how the rich and the poor cross paths everyday without expressing much envy or sympathy; how fashions and trends seem to arrive in the city before reaching the rest of the country; and why people persevere through overabundant low periods of life in the city compared to the rare high moments. ("In Praise of New York" originally aired on February 1, 1974, at 9:00 PM EST, as part of an hour-long documentary special entitled "New York, New York." The special featured the Rooney piece and a segment by Warren Wallace called "To Hell with New York." This copy of "In Praise of New York" is from a 1976 repeat telecast of "New York, New York.")

Florida Man CALMLY Describes KILLING 6 Grandchildren and Daughter In CHILLING 911 Call!!

02:02
In a chilling 911 call obtained by WFTV, a Florida grandfather calmly tells the dispatcher on Sept. 18 that he had killed his daughter and her six children and planned to shoot himself when police arrive. "I just shot my daughter and shot all my grandkids, and I'm gonna be sitting on my step, and when you get here, I'm gonna shoot myself," Don Spirit says, describing the killings in Bell, Fla. Spirit, 51, fatally shot his 28-year-old daughter, Sarah, and her six children: Kaleb Kuhlmann, 11; Kylie Kuhlmann, 9; Johnathon Kuhlmann, 8; Destiny Stewart, 5; Brandon Stewart, 4; and Alanna Stewart, who was born in June. "Everyone of them are dead," he tells the Gilchrist County Sheriff's Office dispatcher. The dispatcher, trying to get more information and keep him on the phone, asks, "What kind of gun do you have?' Spirit: "It doesn't matter what kind of gun I got. They are all dead. When you get here, I will shoot myself and then you can figure out what kind of gun it is." At another point, he says,"All the kids are dead in the house." Dispatcher: "How many people?" Spirit: "Six kids and one adult." Dispatcher: "Six kids and one adult?" Spirit: "Yeah, one of them is a baby." As he vowed in his 911 call, Spirit shot himself after deputies arrived.. "After a brief verbal exchange, the suspect sustained a self inflicted gunshot which resulted in his death," the sheriff's office said Tuesday. "As of this time, no clear or definitive motive can be determined." Sheriff Robert Schultz earlier described the community as "devastated" by the killings. Preliminary autopsy results indicate that the victims were shot with a .45-caliber hand gun that was recovered near the suspect, the sheriff's office said Tuesday in a statement on its Facebook page. "All of the children's bodies were located in various locations inside the residence, while the bodies of the two adults were found outside the residence in separate locations on the property," the statement said. Spirit, who had an extensive criminal record, had served time for illegal possession of a gun in connection with the fatal shooting of his 8-year-old son, Kyle, in 2001. Although the shooting itself was ruled accidental, Spirit -- as a previous felon -- was not legally permitted to possess a firearm at the time.

1964 NBC NEWS SPECIAL REPORT: Chaney, Goodman & Schwerner!!

On June 21, 1964, three young civil rights workers—a 21-year-old black Mississippian, James Chaney, and two white New Yorkers, Andrew Goodman, 20, and Michael Schwerner, 24—were murdered near Philadelphia, in Nashoba County, Mississippi. They had been working to register black voters in Mississippi during Freedom Summer and had gone to investigate the burning of a black church. They were arrested by the police on trumped-up charges, imprisoned for several hours, and then released after dark into the hands of the Ku Klux Klan, who beat and murdered them. It was later proven in court that a conspiracy existed between members of Neshoba County's law enforcement and the Ku Klux Klan to kill them.

CREEPY: Aaron Hernandez’s Cell Covered In BLOOD Writing Spelling ILLUMINATI and PYRAMID DRAWINGS!!

03:19
Aaron Hernandez left behind numerous messages in his prison cell, reports say, and the most bizarre were scrawlings in blood that referred to the “Illuminati,” according to WCVB-TV Boston. Hernandez also drew a Bible verse on his forehead. Hernandez “wrote ‘John 3:16’ on his forehead and left notes to his 4-year-old daughter and his fiancee beside an open Bible in the prison cell where he hanged himself,” reports the Boston Herald. The verse reads, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” However, it’s the reports of Illuminati images that are adding a bizarre layer to an already tragic story. According to WCVB’s Kathy Curran, Hernandez drew images in blood on his cell. “One of the drawings was what’s known as the unfinished pyramid and the all-seeing eye of God. The image is similar to what is found on the back of U.S. currency,” reports WCVB, adding that Hernandez wrote “ILLUMINATI” in capital letters below the image. “The illuminati is a person or group claiming to have religious enlightenment or knowledge. The illuminati has also been the subject of several theories, including one that claims they control of the world,” reports WCVB, which adds, “Above the pyramid, Hernandez drew an oval with rays coming from the edges.” CrystalLinks reports that the all-seeing eye symbol or “The Eye of Providence (or the all-seeing eye of God) is a symbol showing an eye often surrounded by rays of light or a glory and usually enclosed by a triangle. It is sometimes interpreted as representing the eye of God watching over humankind (or divine providence). In the modern era, the most notable depiction of the eye is the reverse of the Great Seal of the United States, which appears on the United States one-dollar bill.” The symbol is prevalent in freemasonry and, reports CrystalLinks, “Popular among conspiracy theorists is the claim that the Eye of Providence shown atop an unfinished pyramid on the Great Seal of the United States indicates the influence of Freemasonry in the founding of the United States. This was dramatized in the 2004 film National Treasure.” A site on the Illuminati describes it as “an elite organization of world leaders, business authorities, innovators, artists, and other influential members of this planet.” Hernandez sketched the references to the Illuminati on his prison wall in blood, the television station reports. Weirdly, you can find references to Aaron Hernandez and the Illuminati on Twitter that date back years.

SHOCK VIDEO: Chicago COP Is Caught SLEEPING ON DUTY, On One Of The Most DANGEROUS BLOCKS In The HOOD

03:19
CHICAGO (CBS) — The Chicago Police Department has launched an investigation after an officer was caught on tape sleeping while inside a department SUV. Video of the sleeping cop was posted online on Saturday, and has been viewed more than 710,000 times, and shared more than 25,000 times. It was filmed in broad daylight at 63rd Street and Campbell Avenue. An officer wearing sunglasses was spotted sitting in the driver’s seat of a police SUV, and was sleeping soundly. The man narrating the video said people get shot all the time in that area, and a young person was shot and killed for his phone not too long ago at that same intersection. The man who recorded the video walked up to the SUV’s open passenger window, and took a close-up video of the sleeping officer, who never budges. The video shows the officer sleeping for a full 50 seconds, but it’s clear from the setup of the video that the officer had been sleeping before the camera was turned on, and continued to sleep afterward.

THROWBACK NEWZ: Nelson Mandela's First Visit To New York City(June 20,1990)

07:06
Nelson Mandela, the living symbol of resistance to South African apartheid, swept tired but triumphant yesterday into an emotional New York welcome. During Mr. Mandela's first hours in the United States at the start of an eight-city visit, tens of thousands of people in the black Brooklyn neighborhoods of Bedford-Stuyvesant, East New York and Fort Greene lined the sidewalks, wildly cheering the honored guest's motorcade and brandishing clenched fists. In lower Manhattan huge clumps of computer printouts tumbled to the streets of the financial district in place of ticker tape, made obsolete by electronics, in the city's traditional hero's greeting. A Compelling Moment ''Apartheid is doomed,'' Mr. Mandela said at the end of brief, graceful remarks at a City Hall welcoming ceremony. ''South Africa will be free. The struggle continues.'' For the city's blacks it was a particularly compelling moment. ''I felt a blessing from God that I could be part of this,'' said Taraja Samuel, an administrator with the city's Board of Education, who took her 15-year-old son Taiye to the City Hall ceremony. ''I came of age in the 1960's, but the regret of my life is I never met Dr. King or Malcolm. I told my son today to be in the presence of Nelson Mandela was an honor. ''This makes me able to go back to the board, despite all the problems, and know that I can make a difference,'' she said. ''This man is an inspiration.'' Huge Security Operation As Mr. Mandela praised David N. Dinkins as New York's first black Mayor, Deputy Mayor Bill Lynch, who managed Mr. Dinkins's campaign and played a major role in organizing Mr. Mandela's visit, wept in the row behind them. The police estimated that 750,000 people saw Mr. Mandela at one point or another - 50,000 in Queens at Kennedy International Airport and along the route, 100,000 as he passed through Brooklyn, 400,000 along the ticker-tape parade and 200,000 in the ceremony at City Hall. Hundreds of thousands more saw the events broadcast live on local television. Police helicopters flew overhead, and Mr. Mandela's 40-car motorcade bristling with police and State Department security officers was led by two dozen police motorcycles. As part of a huge security operation, traffic was frozen as the motorcade passed. Concern About Health As the day progressed, there was increasing concern for the health of Mr. Mandela, the deputy president of the African National Congress, who will turn 72 years of age next month and was released less than five months ago after 27 years in prison. He is in the midst of a six-week, 14-nation tour and at the beginning of a hastily arranged visit to the United States, where he is seeking financial support and the continuation of economic sanctions against the white regime in South Africa. Last night, an exhausted Mr. Mandela canceled several scheduled events, including meetings with black journalists and exiled South Africans, and even the scaled-down, intimate family meal at Gracie Mansion that had replaced plans for a 22-person dinner went by the boards. Roger Wilkins, the national coordinator of the trip, told journalists last night that the Dinkinses were eating downstairs while Mr. Mandela remained in the guest suite upstairs. After the City Hall ceremonies, Mr. Wilkins said: ''It was clear he reached the limit where he should not be pushed. The man is tired.'' Earlier, Zwelakhe Sisulu, Mr. Mandela's press secretary and the director of information of the African National Congress, told reporters that Mr. Mandela was ''quite tired after such a hectic day.'' Mr. Wilkins had said at the earlier news briefing: ''The fact that we express our concerns doesn't mean we have a sick man on our hands. It just means that we are being realistic about a very strenuous program for a 71-year-old man.'' Two Hours Late Mr. Mandela arrived from Canada almost two hours behind schedule yesterday morning in order to get extra rest, and by the end of the day he was visibly worn. As Mr. Mandela rode up Broadway, he was encased in an odd vehicle immediately dubbed the ''Mandelamobile.'' A small bulletproof glass shelter with a peaked roof was built atop a police flatbed truck. Spotlights fixed to the corners of the roof give it an uncanny resemblance to a prison watchtower. But all the security was virtually swept aside at one point as hundreds of excited black teen-agers surrounded the motorcade when it left Boys and Girls High School in Brooklyn, running, whooping and cheering alongside the cars. State Department security officers paled and their eyes widened at the sight.

Chicago Police Officers BUSTED For Photos With Black Suspect Posed Like HUNTED ANIMAL!!

03:35
A judge ruled against Chicago police and ordered them to release a photo that shows two rifle-toting officers kneeling over a black suspect wearing deer antlers. The Polaroid picture, believed to be taken between 1999 and 2003, was turned over to the city by federal prosecutors after Jerome Finnigan, one of the officers in the photo, was sentenced to 12 years in prison for organizing robberies and home invasions with other cops. The other officer in the photo, Timothy McDermott, was fired last year by a 5-4 vote by the police board, reported the Chicago Sun-Times. The dissenters said McDermott should only be suspended, but the majority said treating the unidentified black suspect as “a hunted animal is a disgrace and shocks the conscience.” Attorneys for the police department and McDermott, who is appealing his firing, asked Judge Thomas Allen to keep the photo from being released to protect the suspect’s privacy. The judge denied the request in March, and the Sun-Times recently obtained the photo in a court file. Finnigan told prosecutors that he and McDermott had arrested the man because he had “20 bags of weed,” but neither officer filed an arrest report for the case and they apparently let him go because he did not have a serious criminal background. The person who took the photo, which Finnigan said was a “spur of the moment” stunt,” has not been identified. The police superintendent said the photograph was “disgusting” and “despicable,” and he said both officers deserved to be fired.

CANNIBIS Advocate Charlo Greene's FULL REPORT On Medical Marijuana For KTVA Alaska!!

24:01
Charlene Egbe, aka, Charlo Greene, a Nigerian-born Alaskan reporter for KTVA news in Anchorage, Alaska, quit her job by saying the f-word on air, claiming she’ll instead focus on legalization of marijuana in Alaska. “I — the actual owner of the Alaska Cannabis Club — will be dedicating all of my energy for fighting for freedom and fairness, which begins with legalizing marijuana here in Alaska. And as for this job, well, not that I have a choice but… fuck it, I quit,” she said. The station’s news director issued an apology to viewers on Facebook and Twitter, writing, “We sincerely apologize for the inappropriate language used by a KTVA reporter during her live presentation on the air tonight. The employee has been terminated.” Greene’s information was removed from the KTVA site almost immediately. The fact that Charlene Egbe, dropped the f-bomb on live TV is one thing, but that she admitted to being the owner of the Alaska Cannabis Club is a whole different issue in itself. Greene has done a number of stories for KTVA about medical marijuana laws in the state and the fight to make it legal to grow, which seems like a conflict of interest. In some stories she even used the club as a source. At the end of August, she spoke anonymously with the Alaska Dispatch News “citing concern over potential repercussions from her employer.” The Alaska Cannabis Club, the state’s “only medical marijuana resource,” claims it does not sell pot, but “the club does connect medical marijuana cardholders in need to medical marijuana cardholders with green.” As of now, medical marijuana is legal in Alaska, but it is illegal to possess for commercial reasons. In November, Alaskans will get the chance to vote on whether to end marijuana prohibition in the state. Greene has asked supporters to donate on Indiegogo. She’s asking for $5,000 to help “inform Alaskan voters.”

Houston Teacher In HOSPITAL After Student BRUTALLY PUNCHES Him In The FACE(CAUGHT ON CAMERA)

02:48
HOUSTON - Classrooms are supposed to be where learning takes place, not where students punch teachers in the face. But that's exactly what happened Thursday inside a classroom at Spring ISD's Westfield High School. Local 2 obtained a short video clip of the student punching the teacher. It's a move that got the young man arrested; he's now facing charges. "No respect -- none," said mother Syreeta Hairston, who has a freshman attending Westfield. "I don't know why but these kids have zero respect." Spring ISD confirmed the incident happened Thursday. Local 2 spoke to the teacher by phone, who hours after the incident was still undergoing tests at a hospital. He told Local 2 the sharp right hook seen in the video was the last of at least seven punches the student hit him with. He said it started when the student refused to take a test and tried to leave the classroom. The teacher said when he told him to stay, the student cursed at the teacher and hit him several times. The teacher said he left the classroom to inform the principal; when he returned to the classroom to tell the teen the principal was coming, the student is then seen hitting the teacher one last time. A number of students can be heard pleading with the young man to stop. People that Local 2 showed the video to said they were stunned. "I don't know what has to happen for them to realize you cannot talk to or react to an adult like that," said Hairston. "You can't do it." "Parents these days, they're worried about (shoes) and what they can get for their kids, so they can be fly like the next kid, instead of instilling in them respect," said Houston resident Emanuel Ambo. "And that right there, what I just saw, was utter disrespect." The teacher told Local 2 that he went to the hospital with serious pain to his head. He was awaiting the results if a CT scan when Local 2 last spoke to him. He said he's taught the boy on a regular basis and has had trouble with his behavior before, including using profanity in the classroom.
